LAMB
We believe that our lamb is the best lamb tasting lamb you will ever find. The grass on our farm is very high in beta-Keratin. So high, in fact, that it turns the fat on cattle yellow and funky tasting, but not so with lamb. They thrive on our grass and meat is mild, tender and delicious. Our grass is fertilized by compost from our horse barn and chicken pens. We do not use chemicals, commercial fertilizer, herbicides, or pesticides on our fields. We grow lush thick grass that sheep and lambs can grow plump on for most of the year. With the exception of a few months around the beginning of the year, our lambs graze exclusively on our rich fertile grass. We butcher the lambs at 10 months to a year old at Marks Meat in Canby, Oregon, a fully inspected and certified USDA processing facility.
